Yesterday, Jim "Gateway Pundit" Hoft claimed the crowd size at Glenn Beck's crazy rally was 500,000, based on the high end of an estimate from Glenn Beck. Actually, according to a professional crowd-size estimating company hired by CBS News, the number was 87,000 with a margin of error of plus or minus 9,000.
However, the last time there was a rally in D.C. the fire department said there were 70,000 people there, and Hoft hilariously claimed 2,000,000. So this is actually a great improvement for him!
Last time he exaggerated by 1,930,000 and twenty-eight times the actual attendance. This time, he only exaggerated by a mere 404,000 and five times the actual attendance. This is the closest thing to honesty from Hoft in well over a decade.

The Teabagger community organizer, Dana Loesch, said the crowd was "700K guestimate".
ReplyDeleteActually that is funny because Dana, on her radio show blog, puts the crowd at 700,000.
