"Borrowed Time" is the newest episode of the Color of Justice documentary series. It focuses on the life (case) of Reginald Clemons, a Missouri death row inmate, who found himself at the mercy of a corrupt justice system. At the age of nineteen years old and the youngest of eight children, Clemons could not afford competent counsel to defend a capital murder case. Reggie’s trial attorney was later disbarred. Nels Moss, the prosecutor in all four of the defendants’ cases, was found in contempt of court during Reggie’s trial. Reggie’s beaten confession, his unfit attorneys, prosecutorial misconduct and other factors are the basis for a case of reasonable doubt, however Reggie Clemons, remains on death row.
