Thank you for your endorsement and support of my husbands campaign. Yourcomments really made my day.As we face a recount, I know Doug and I plan to continue to fight for our community and our values regarding labor, environmental concerns and women's rights no matter what the outcome.thanks again for the endorsement.
Gina DeRoy-ClemensAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4924392915564296358.post-73014422337350867832010-08-02T16:44:33.001-05:002010-08-02T16:44:33.001-05:00Steve, thanks for the comments. He and Barbara Fraser are both good candidates, IMO.STLAHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09847700690428802300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4924392915564296358.post-64571116067646221212010-08-02T11:59:04.868-05:002010-08-02T11:59:04.868-05:00Vengeful Texan, you've "lost respect"...Vengeful Texan, you've "lost respect" for me because we disagree about an election? Why take it to such a ridiculous level?

I stated quite clearly what my reasons were for being disappointed in her actions, but also stated clearly that I would be hopeful that she could still be a strong progressive voice if she is elected. Considering that she absurdly threatened legal action against my friend merely for pointing out a false claim in one of her fliers, I worry much more that I'm being "too forgiving" than I do about being "too harsh." I just see this pattern of very mean-spirited reactions, from her initial comments when Calloway entered the race, to her comments about Crow, to her reaction to Clark's post, and (to a lesser extent) to your overreaction to my benign comments, that has me very worried.STLAHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09847700690428802300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4924392915564296358.post-33580102015255569452010-08-02T00:16:21.073-05:002010-08-02T00:16:21.073-05:00Hi-- Thanks for your thoughts on Tuesday's pri...Hi-- Thanks for your thoughts on Tuesday's primary. I do disagree with your endorsement in the 24th District Senate race. I am enthusiastically supporting Sam Page. Sam was a great, progressive State Representative and ran an excellent race for Lt. Governor two years ago. And I definitely believe he will be the much stronger candidate in November.Steve Sorkinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4924392915564296358.post-64291338140804554382010-08-01T22:03:01.335-05:002010-08-01T22:03:01.335-05:00You forget to mention that Hoskins and Calloway to...You forget to mention that Hoskins and Calloway took $30k EACH from Rex Sinquefield, and Joe Adams was NOT a good mayor of U. City. While Maria probably was incorrect about raising the question about why Terry Crow wasn't pointing out that he was gay, that does NOT mean that we should be questioning whether Maria is committed to LGBT rights/the progressive movement or not. Look at her record in the House. Does that scream 'centrist milquetoast' more than say, Don Calloway's acceptance of Sinquefield's dirty money? Just because she's threatened legal action against your friend, and she made one regrettable comment about Terry Crow (whose rise through U. City politics is entirely due to Joe Adams, who is not a progressive), you refuse to give an endorsement to the only candidate in that election who is an honest progressive? I've lost quite a bit of respect for you here, Shriver.The_Vengeful_Texannoreply@blogger.com
